What's Included in Wedding Catering Packages?
What caterers usually provide, what is often charged extra, and how to compare packages like for like.

Two packages with the same headline price can include very different things. Comparing them like for like is the only way to know which is better value.
Usually included
- The food itself, cooked and served
- Serving staff for the agreed service window
- Cooking and serving equipment
- Setup and pack down
- Allergen information
Often charged as extras
- Travel and transport
- Crockery, cutlery, linen and glassware hire
- Evening food
- Bar service
- Marquee or tent hire
- Extra staff hours if service overruns
A simple way to compare
Ask each caterer to quote for the same date, guest count and service times, then list what is included under identical headings. Add up any extras you would need. The cheapest headline is not always the cheapest total.
What our packages include
Our packages are all-inclusive: transport, setup, service and pack down are in the price, with a full allergen matrix and £5 million public liability insurance. We also own our ovens, BBQs, bars and marquees, so we can bundle food, drinks and marquee into one quote rather than coordinating several suppliers.
Frequently asked questions
Does wedding catering include plates and cutlery?
Not always. Some caterers charge separately for crockery and cutlery hire, so check this when comparing quotes.
Is travel included in wedding catering prices?
It depends on the caterer. In our packages, transport costs are included.
Can I bundle food, bar and marquee?
With us, yes. We own our own bars and marquees, so everything can come as one quote from one supplier.
